it's possible that they might just be delaying when they show the next available showtimes. Happened to me with Superman a couple times and it wasn't until a day or two before that supposed "final" showtime that they had more for the next few days etc.
He's doubling down on this lol
What’s the tldr/w?
What’s the tldr/w?
He thinks the movie's PTA expressing two sides to fetishizing black women and that Perfidia doesn't get agency / her side explained clearly enough to audiences.
Dude even starts out the video by grazing past an influential black woman content creator who has praised this movie and its commentary on race. He tells people to check it out if they want, but he doesn't engage with just about anything she said in her videos about it - only to say later that we should let black women steer the discussions here.
And he ends the video by saying "most folks - black folks included missed" the questionable things he takes issues with, rather than just acknowledging he may just be wrong or interpreting things in a way people aren't.
I personally think anyone minimizing the (imo) nuanced and varied commentary across the board about race in this movie to being the filmmaker getting off on fetishizing black women is being reductive and, in a way, doing the fetishizing themselves.

Lost all respect for this man unfortunately, what a weird take
The comment section is completely braindead too
