I mean that is true, but fact is while it was in theaters it was at least 75% pure praise with a few ppl whining whereas since the golden globes it’s about the opposite cuz that side of twitter wasn’t even in the know about the movie till it hit streaming and ppl were able to clip it

Jan 14We need to get back to wrapping awards season up earlier. I can't do 2 more months of this.
I get there's a group of viewers who only start watching these films now, have other awards preferences and are incentivized to angle criticism for certain agenda but like at least engage in decent discussion and a***ysis. Some of this is unbearable.

Jan 14·4 repliesThe only flaw to this movie is the ending I didn't like that Willa accepted the letter from her mother and it almost framed Perfidia as a "tragic hero". I'd have preferred that she rejected the letter and embraced her father even though they aren't blood-related, he's more of a father to her than her biological parents ever will be. That would've made for a more touching ending imo
