ThomForkMake no mistake, PTA is possibly the greatest working filmmaker right now - outside of maybe Scorsese.
I'm just saying that "fun" is not the word I regularly use to describe his films.
Most of his films are hilarious at points, most of them just aren't "light-hearted" or "fun" films overall because they each carry a significant amount of emotional weight.
