I still want a 5090…hopefully NVIDIA will redesign the power connector later this year.
One restocked for $670…. I bit the bullet
Whatever
Not bad compared to what some people are paying

I got pretty lucky with mine, I have alerts for stocks and I did not see a single one at MSRP 30 minutes after launch so that’s probably as good as good you’re going to get one.
I upgraded from a 3070 Ti and the difference is def worth it. Quiet as hell too

Just scammed my brother and selling him my 3070ti + 3700x for $450 so makes the upgrade not hit my wallet as hard
Can’t wait
Feels like we're entering the PC dark ages tbh (for AAA games)
Insane GPU market with rising costs and very little actual performance gains, only development in framegen
Increasingly unoptimized games relying on framegen to get anything done
AMD completely giving up the higher-tier GPU market to focus on CPU's and their server business
PC's always been the rich man's platform to a degree but there's always been mid-tier builds that do well on AAA games for a budget. Now I don't know if that's the case anymore

9070 XT out now
Can match 5080 performance with overclock for $400 less (MSRP, realistically even cheaper)
Kinda crazy I really thought I was gonna ride out my 3070 ti for another generation but the 9070 XT + being able to sell the ti + an old processor for $450 makes the upgrade a no brainer right now.
My AM4 though is really at end of life I’m pushing it
5700x3d and a 750w PSU. Yeah lmfao my next upgrade the motherboard, the cpu, ram, and psu all got go.. yikes
Shoutout the 6 month ago 5700x3d I got from Ali express for $110. Was legit, and since prices shot back up to $250

We have the exact same build lmao, the upgrade to AM5 seems pretty expensive unfortunately so imma have to hold on to this for as long as possible

Imma run the mh wilds benchmark again when I get back home but from what I recall - I was getting an unstable 60fps at native 4k and with FG it was 80+ fps. Pretty happy with it since MH Wilds optimisation is nonexistent
Edit: Averages 129fps at 4K with FG

Yeah coming from an IPS, OLED is nice as hell. The text on this is clean asf too so I was worried for nothing, glad you recommended it me

Still not a top-tier card and it's already starting to be marked up and scalped because of the hype
Love AMD but they're part of the problems I listed
Shadow of Mordor
Characters are good
Gameplay is good
The Elf is sexy

Edit: FINAL BOSS WAS A QTE???? 0/10

AMD isn't completely giving up on the high end market, they have stated that UDNA will be them returning to it after skipping it for RDNA4
