oh s***, in for that. I finished Ryuki/Tama’s route which overall I liked. This game has better gameplay, with more intuitive and generally more fun somniums. I liked the VR sections because they remind me of the Batman games. I'm like halfway through Mizuki's route? and it's losing steam for me tbh, feels like we're constantly using the same locations over and over again lol.
Kizzy's and Lien's relationship is cringe af lol. The part where mizuki finds out her genes were rewritten killed me like duh you were 12 years old beating up grown ass dudes with a pipe. The story of the first game def felt tighter and easier to understand.

Yeah the Ryuki/Tama route is like way better and feels like a different game. Game fell off right when you started to control Mizuki in the 2nd half. The new non playable characters like Kizzy, Lien, were a bit annoying. I did like Gen & Tokiko though.

Yeah that “twist” was an eye roll, s*** a lot in the later game is. Completely agree about the first game having a tighter story. The sequel tried to do too much and became too silly. Hopefully when they make a Part 3, it goes back to a grounded crime story the 1st had.

the whole stadium sequence was pretty hype, I liked it overall. I feel like the 2 Mizuki's could have worked better if Bibi had a slightly different personality to Mizuki, the only times you can kinda tell it's a different person is when she mentions her little sister she has to protect and when she mentions her heart. Personally I thought the twist was alright but small differences with the characters would've made it better. Not really a fan of how Date was handled in this game. He should of had more of a role, and the whole spoiler free mode is determental to his character and development. why does he have his mask on after having apparently lost his memory for 6 years. I would rate the game like a 7/10, the first was def better.

They erased every single character development for Date (and especially his relationship with Mizuki) had from the 1st game, probably my biggest complaint. I agree with the 7, the somniums & investigations were so much better in this one and pretty much carried the game. Feel like 2nd game didn’t take itself seriously and that played a negative part. Also thought the villain was ass compared to Saito, that mf was crazy

facts, the development between her and date went no where lol. it's like she hates him in one scene and likes him the next. Tokkio would be pretty cool to play as. Tearer was pretty lame lmao dude died way to easily for the main villain.
