Refurb with a not great warranty and only 90 day return policy, but it’s one of the better high end deals I’ve seen the last few weeks. 5070 ti down from a 5080 isn’t a big hit at all if you’re not playing at 4K

Ehh heavily taxing but that’s the market I guess.
9800x3d is nice to have and should get great performance out of a 9070xt.

I’ve heard good things about skytech

  • just found out they added dino crisis to steam

Finally upgrading from my 2019 build.

This is what I settled on: pcpartpicker.com/user/13Thieves/saved/KsLrmG

CPU cooler and PSU arrive this week so I can get it built on the weekend. I've been holding off on graphically intense games for the last 2 years or so because I wanted to play them on high/ultra settings so I'm hella excited to finally get around to them.

    u cool with 1 tb?

Saw a tweet about it right as I was about to install

Apparently it messes up fan settings and leaves some GPUs with only one working fan. Pretty big mistake for a main driver update.

Can imagine there will be a few people on the new drivers running RE9 maxed out wondering why their card is overheating

I've been using 1TB for the last 6 years it doesn't bother me. I only ever have 1 multiplayer game and 1 single player game installed at a time.

  • Loving the new computer. I've been using the Nvidia Shield to stream games on high/ultra quality over to the TV in 4k at respectable FPS. Feels like I'm playing in the future compared to before when I was using medium settings on my 1080p monitor to get smooth gameplay with my 2070.

RE9 has a weird issue with me with frame gen, wanted to lock at 120fps with my lg c4 but when entering new areas or if a script was loading, game would hitch real bad, this only happened with frame gen on turning it off was fine, but wasn't locked at 120 with dlss performance. Not doing ultra performance with a 5090

Was hoping the new nvidia drivers would fix it for my 2nd playthrough before Crimson Desert, and it did not, Maybe ill just turn off path tracing which has alot of boiling anyways

Ultra performance with preset L is very good looking, unless you’re pixel peeping there’s barely a difference between that and performance. Been using it to get a locked 90fps without FG

  • honestly man having a pc now that can run everything at high high frames is so nice

Completely ridiculous and totally anti consumer, especially with the way prices are trending. I hope all their future builds get leaked
