Whats bad ab amd and linux? My first time with both
The driver support on linux has always been f***y. You wait months to have any support because neither the proprietary drivers, nor the open source mesa drivers, are updated with the new cards on time, and when they finally are updated you not only get little to no overclocking options because things like msi afterburner doesnt exist, you also have to deal with bugs and constant glitches
For me, i have a system with both a linux and windows install on separate drives, and the difference in games, applications, and overall performance is significant. Blender runs out of VRAM wayy too often for my liking on linux, while on windows it never does.
To be honest tho i think ill focus on getting a 3900x instead though, or wait til the new amd cpus come
Risk of Rain 2 1.0
Haha i brought RoR2 on steam sale but havent even opened it up, is it good?

Okay cool, that's what im experiencing so far. Haven't gamed in years and im not too worried about playing stuff right away.
But i already see what u mean about drivers.
TF2 is native so ive ben enjoying replaying that again aftter 10 years away.
But im having trouble getting wine to run in 32 bit in order for the needed drivers to be installed for diablo 3 to run

Oh yeah make sure you created a new wineprefix and that you specified WINEARCH=win32 when you did it
Your first command should be something like:
WINEPREFIX="$HOME/diablo3" WINEARCH=win32 wineboot
Once you do that you just need to write in terminal export WINEPREFIX="$HOME/diablo3" so it uses that prefix in terminal, and run the installer in wine
I think you can also do this in lutris or proton, but i havent tried it, the only program i needed to run in 32 bit mode was fl studio

I'd say its worth it if you're into the roguelike genre.
some playable characters can be a chore to unlock, but the game is a blast, just grinding and seeing how far you can make it, figuring out which items have the best synergy and give you the best loadout. Some runs can last for 4+ hours some runs can end in 20 minutes (depending on difficulty).
The 1.0 update added an actual final boss and end credits, so something to actually work towards now.
I have about 40 hours, so yeah I'd recommend.

Hey, got all that working, was able to install the dependencies onto the 32 bit that wasnt working before on my 64
Battlenet starts, but when i go to launch d3 it doesn’t leave the grey screen.
Experienced anything similar before?

No, sadly i haven't used any other launchers besides what steam bootstraps. Best thing from here is to keep googling, or try and use proton, sorry

Yeah all good thanks.
I have all my native steam games running just fine, and googling fixed the last couple roadblocks.
Thanks for the input bro
