6800xt seem like the card of this gen

50$ less than 3080 with double Vram pairing with 5000 series cpu

(both 3090,6900xt) is a waste of money wait for Pro version if you want Workstation build for amd , quadro,titan for nvidia)

also the 6800 pricing is really weird people might find a way to bios swap it with 6800xt tho but with 80$ more perf jump from 3070 to almost 3080 is a no brainer

Dont forget amd's gpu drivers are not as stable as nvidia's
Theyre buggy, updates are much slower and theyre not as well optimized.

Easiest way to go right now, is buy the normal nvidia founders card.

Idk if the 3rd party 3070s are gonna have that capacitor issue or not... If ur not overclocking, it shouldnt matter anyway... But if u are, get the founders, or wait a few weeks/months to see if any of them have issues.
