They did but Crash was not that good. It was not industry leading in the same way Naughty Dog is now. It was always behind other platformers.

That is incorrect, naughty dog was signed by sony before they made crash for the ps1. The game did commercially well, however it was seen as not anything really new or revolutionary. Which is true, the game by design was meant to port character platformers into 3d.

I'm excited for stalker 2, the game looks amazing. I think that 4a games' metro series has the stronger art direction, but I've always thought that stalker had/has one of the best open worlds in gaming. I'm excited for another trip to the zone.

My point is how is Microsoft restrictive when they're putting games on 3 platforms same day whereas with Sony, you have to wait at least a year, sometimes longer, for those games to come to another platform?

Stalker wasn’t on consoles and it’s a beloved series with 3 games, now that it’s coming to consoles it’s not coming to PlayStation

That’s obviously WAY more restrictive than a game coming to PlayStation for a limited time and then coming to other platforms later

And most Sony exclusives are original IPs, not games that are from series that have been on multiple platforms that then Sony restricted
