"taught you everything you know, now you got student pride" aligns perfectly with the Buried Alive interlude and Drake bringing Kendrick to the Club Paradise tour
“Imagine how it feel to watch another fella at the TOP
You know that if you wasn't you, you would be dissin' you, DAWG”
I feel like there's tons of other Drake bars that have gone over people's heads simply because you'd have to be a member of the crew to know who/what he was talking about.

Yeah. Drake is definitely one of the best ever at it. That thread on Twitter just proves it. What's funny is how many people are just now catching some of his shots at other people.
I've said it before but Drake is one of the few rappers in history who has played the game the right way. He's an MC's MC and if you dig into his catalog, he's got tons of nuggets that'll make you tip your hat to him. He's also got the hits to go with it. And the way he's a proud student of the game/always shows love and respect to the OGs and how more than any of his peers, he's gone out of his way to elevate other rappers by giving out co-signs/hopping on records with them.
It's just unfortunate that many people won't realize all of this until probably years from now. He's got, hands down, one of the best legacies in rap history.

Most underrated 'rapper' of all time
He's so good at making songs and hits that people automatically label him a pure pop act. As if they cannot comprehend a pop maven being this good at Rap.
Drama's vein about to burst in this episode is still one of the wildest things i ever done seen s*** is a spaghetti noodle
for me it was 30 for 30 freestyle that had me shook
great subs at Jay Z there
"I like R's and V's and O's ion really play no tic tac toe" Weeknd diss
"Just like that one time at chella good thing man wasn't pulling out phones" Tory & Dram fight at Coachella
“Imagine how it feel to watch another fella at the TOP
You know that if you wasn't you, you would be dissin' you, DAWG”
This s*** sounds like a reach, but at this point I don’t even know anymore. If it wasn’t, this bar was so subtle I didn’t even recognize it until this post

If you go through that thread, it seems like Drake has been mentioned more than any OTHER artist in there too
