Jul 21, 2021It grows on you as you age. I hated beer until my mid-twenties, and almost never drank it as a result. I can drink a cold beer no problem now and it definitely isn't a case of me drinking it until it became tolerable.

GangstaliciousThere's lots of different beers man some people just like it. If you're drinking s***ty ones from 711 and gas stations then yeah they're not good for a lot of people but a legit good beer on tap is great. Way better than liquor imo.
Even the s***ty beer is an acquired taste.Whiskey or brandy on the rocks tho >>>

That s*** tastes f***ing trash. All my friends take Instagram pics with pints of beer all the time, which backs up my point that people drink it due to its currency rather than actually wanting to.
I was always told that I would ‘eventually’ like beer/lager when I was younger - like there is a lightbulb moment in your 20s. Not even close. Give me a soda, glass of sweet wine, whiskey, cocktail any day over that s***.
According to my Untappd I’ve had 1927 different beers. Thoughts?

not sure how old you are but for my social circle at least once we were past our broke college phase everyone just started drinking whatever they wanted. people usually start with beer because its cheap and accessible but I don't think you should ever feel like you have to drink beer in any setting
