  • Any time a rapper evolves or starts to mature, you have that portion of people who go out their way to disrespect them.

For example people thinking Gucci is a “clone” or “soft” now because he’s not getting in trouble anymore or pulling out guns on social media.

Why do some of y’all get so offended when a rapper cuts out the bullshit? Or call them “dusty”?

Agreed esp on the gucci point

I think the point that OP’s making us that ppl get at rappers like Gucci or Sosa who have a done a good job escaping their past lives they lived where they where on their f***ery, and how a lot or fans will egg them on bc they want to see that entertainment for themselves again

  • Nov 19, 2020

ah yes, the classic trope of a ktt2 poster believing every rapper they’ve heard of on the internet is rich regardless of their sales, touring numbers, or clauses in their contract

    Ppl will always hate

  • Nov 19, 2020

Unfortunately the music is often better when it comes from a place of hardship. People notice that pattern and beg for them to relapse just so they can get another good project

  • Nov 19, 2020

    Its a circus for ppl

  • Nov 19, 2020

Ye called ppl that make music gladiators

  • Nov 19, 2020

Because a lot of people, especially those who got into rap after it became dominant, only see it as a form of entertainment and a circus

Explains why people like 69 got a platform

So because they have money they aren’t human too? You’re part of the problem.

  • All entertainers are treated this way why should it be different for rappers

I’m saying I as well as everyday Americans got enough s*** on our plate to try to cape for or advocate for the well being of others that are better off than me

  • Nov 19, 2020

Idk why gucci got so much hate at that time. He was dropping heat.

  • Nov 19, 2020

    Gucci is a clone

  • Nov 19, 2020

No s*** and it shows the racist undertones of these white teenager consumers too.

It’s def a ignorant way of looking at things

  • Cacs and suburban niggas hate the thought of rappers growing up. If they had it their way rappers will always act buck wild for their entertainment. They live dry, sorry ass lives.
