Nah it’s more likely they just considered covid a priority so if you had Covid they didn’t even check for the flu since they assume you can’t have both at once.

there were more sick people in many countries last year and the year before than there was this year and the covid sickness has gotten so mild this year too it’s like less than a common cold for most people who get it.

The masks don’t protect you from getting sick they help to protect you from making other people sick. Covid viruses will just go into your eyes and infect you that way so the masks are more to help cover up the covid viruses when they exit your mouth from speaking etc, so that other people will have less chances to catch the virus. The masks aren’t there to protect the individual wearing the mask. In reality it’s better for someone who’s sick to not wear a mask at all if they’re alone because then they’ll have more fresh air circulating but the masks are not going to keep you from getting sick if you’re wearing them because the virus can infect us by going in our eyes.

Word. Only time I got sick since 2020 was when I actually got covid. The mask and sanitation protocols put in place by establishments benefited everybody. I usually catch some s*** every year, but I been gucci.

It is flu season so it’s pretty normal to get sick right now and we know that covid also seems to be more prevalent during this season as well if we look at 2021 and 2020 we know that this is covid and flu season.

I don’t get very sick unless I get the flu shot. Then like clockwork I get the flu within a few days and it makes me throw up and it sucks.

If I don’t get the flu shot I tend to get sick once or twice in the year but it’s extremely mild like runny nose and slight coughs but that’s it.

Does this mean you should not get the shot? NO. It means you should do what works for you, if you get sick after the shot every time like I do then you have to make your choice. If you get the shot and never get sick then keep getting that shot.

In early 2020 I believe I had COVID along with some family members. It was akin to a bad flu but with no vomiting at least for me but with worse coughs, since then I’ve not had any major sickness as I mentioned above just mild runny noses with some mild coughs.

I guess it depends on the area because coughing open still an offense here lol. The weather did drastically change throughout the past two weeks and people just not adapting well
