ngl twin i took it at face value but when Mima was acting in the Double Bind scene and her co actress was saying she put herself in a drama to cope with being raped in the club and murders i thought that was what really happened until they revealed otherwise

physicals dont work depending on region and theyre taking down digital purchases just as easily. seriously the only sure way to watch movies other than going to theater is to pirate them and it might be unfortunate but its true

i live in America most releases work here, get released here and its also not hard to get a region free dvd player here neither if u somehow ended up with a region locked one

im not anti piracy tho nor do i think everyone should just blind buy everything

my idea has always been, pirate what you want but try to at least actually buy from works and/or companies you genuinely like, admire, respect and/or have an attachment to if possible, wether its film/books/tv/games/music

basically do whatever you want while buying what you actually love when able

Why are all versions 90$+?

(Majority of) 4k blu rays don't have region locking and you can buy region free blu ray/dvd players

even if that problem is solved you arrive at the fact that blu rays imo are absolutely unappealing to collect. the blue box ones look atrocious. the criterion ones are cool but getting them anywhere outside of the us is a problem. and again idk if theyll work if i get them to play on whatever dvd player i might have for this. i dont even have a tv lol i watch everything on my monitor

Haven’t been left this in awe of a film in a minute, grabbed me like 20 minutes in and it really doesn’t let go. How do you even write some s*** like this? How has this not aged a single day? Not a f***ing second wasted I can’t believe how f***ing good this was… my friend and I in the car ride back just gushed about this for an hour straight.. every scene transition was so masterful I don’t know another movie that balances this level of disorientation while not causing ANY anger/confusion

I don’t even be rating films w numbers but this is the easiest 10 of my life

Extremely grateful to catch this in theatres but I’m sad this was the last day they’re screening it in my area
