Would you rather have a classic album or a perfect album though?

I honestly wasn’t expecting Miles to be as good as it is its the perfect follow up. They got their 3 peat for sure

While I agree with most of these classic suggestions I think it’s very bias because most albums listed are 15-20 years old. Most younger fans would not consider any of these perfect or classic. Ironic

I think perfect is very subjective

Like in my opinion, SB/TLB is 10/10 but most would consider it not perfect

I’d rather have a classic tbh, a classic is damn near perfect and guaranteed to have hits/impact with everyone. A perfect album imo is very genre specific.

Because I love it just as much as other 10/10s

I agree forsure but I think some people would have a hard time calling let’s say good kid maad city a classic just because of its age. Lots of modern day classics have come out the past 10 years.

think you got a favorite confused with perfect. Like you said perfect is pretty subjective, but giving something a 10/10 literally means it was perfect with no flaws. At that point if you compare to 10/10 to each other and you prefer one, it just means you like it more not that its better

So the obvious choice would be overrated because money good but I think as a musician you should strive to make the best music in terms of what you want to create and create music from the heart

See that’s a perfect example where I’d prefer a classic album over a “perfect” album. I think igor is just okay imo.
