I just think Keem doesn’t have enough to say to pull off what he attempted and came off like he lost his identity
I'm not gonna argue the "he doesn't say much" point because you're right he doesn't, but his last album wasn't some seismic shift in style like this making it out to be.
It has a lot of best switches in it like DMFB, it has some slow songs that take instrumental influence from other genres like DFMB, and it has some straightforward bangers like DFMB.
Seems to me like he stuck to the formula and has been rewarded with a pretty strong fanbase

On KTT1 most of his fans were also huge Drake fans because he was one of the first artists to give him any cosigns. But then Kendrick being his cousin got confirmed and now most of his haters are huge Drake fans.

the pglang mysterious promo didnt necessarily work wonders for keem but it didn’t take away from his work either because he already developed a dedicated following. nobody knows who this nigga is 
u can’t be using that mysterious aesthetic n s*** and not have the music to back it up. the only artists that can get away with that stuff are ones that are special and those that bring new things to the table like daft punk, the weeknd, pinkpantheress, jai Paul, jay electronica etc.
Ik it’s not that serious but this promo is awful bruh
it tells me nothing about the artist and the music itself isn’t interesting enough for me to let it slide.Bruh this has first public performance give him time
