PG-Lang or PGL is a company founded by Dave Free and Kendrick Lamar.

The company is undefined as of now but seems to be some type of entertainment company.

This hasn't been brought up by anybody else but if any of you know Joseph Gordon Levitt, in 2004 he started HITRECORD

Its basically a collaborative film company that makes short films, books and short stories. It's targeted towards young aspiring artists and was very popular in the early 2010s. I believe this could be similar to what Free and Kendrick are trying to do now.

I also think this company/platform will be targeted towards younger artists because of the name. PG-Lang. I'm not sure what it stands for but I'm willing to guess its Parental Guidance Language, which sounds a little meh but with baby keem being the first ''Partner'', Kendrick being a new father, and the short having kids staring up right after Kendrick laying on the street pole. I think its safe to say this is the general idea.

Now lets look back at the Logo.

Look at the A. It's the only letter in the logo that doesn't directly fit with style and its completely off center.

I believe the A is reflecting the **A**rtist. Never quite fitting in, but yet being looked upon by many.

Also Kendrick's on track to release an album and this could be the first rollout we see. Back in January Punch tweeted this

Everything in the short film are themes that he deals with on the album. The entire ''Company'' is more than likely fake and built into the story of EGO. Dave Free leaving may or may not be fake, but lets say it is, what is possibly more egotistical than leaving behind TDE to start your own record label/media company that you claim is something ''BRAND NEW''

This type of ARG-esque promotion wouldn't be new, films like Cloverfield have done it before and even Eminem tried to do something with that revival album.

As for the themes in the short film I think a lot of it also has to do with his newborn child. The repeated shots of the eggs, and keem dropping some weird bars about beating his son got me wondering. Anyway im a lil high rn so maybe im overthinking this but lmk what yall think.
