Its like soft rock and uptempo bop-iness paired with really catchy melodies. Artists/Groups like Steely Dan etc.

but obvi making a “rock” album without chad/shay involvement wouldn’t be good under the the n.e.r.d moniker, hence why it is called “virginia” and not on streaming.
it’s ok at best for me.
