Good vision, nice job following his blocks imo. He should be on the team
Big talk how Gainwell is RB1. Not buying that at all lol. So many solid backs on the squad. We are going to run over teams.
Rewatched the preseason game, the obvious names (literally every rookie) that seemed to stand out definitely did on replay. A few guys that I focused in on to make sure that I wasn't tripping that had good games on review were K'Von Wallace and Nick Morrow
K'Von made his way around the ball in his snaps and was a sound tackler, Morrow was legit the only LB I saw do much of anything lol (definitely concerning)
K’Von comin diff this year
Coming downhill and tackling is his thing more so than coverage, since Desai actually HAS a dime package unlike some other DC's I could definitely see K'Von dropping down into the box as like a dime LB in certain packages
I need to be very clear when I talk about Jalen Carter, and this is not exaggeration or hyperbole.
Jalen Carter is the most talented prospect that the Eagles have drafted since I've been born.
I can't remember the last time I was as excited for a season as I am for this one
Chills. That’s my quarterback

Was just saying this to my boy. Maybe the most talented roster we’ve ever had. Please lord don’t disappoint.

been trying so hard to temper my expectations but damn am i cocky
I like that the team is limiting the media's access to Carter. Throughout these past few weeks of training camp we've seen Tanner McKee, Tyler Steen, and Sydney Brown at the podium after practice more than we've seen JC. Hell, Myles Jack and Zach Cunningham just got here and we've seen them at the podium more than JC, and I absolutely think that's intentional. We already know Eagles beatwriters can be asses sometimes, so why throw that on his plate when he's still trying to get acclimated to the league, as well as likely still dealing with the aftermath of that incident from January. Keep him around his guys and the vets and let him focus solely on football, then if he has a big game or two in the season then the media can (hopefully) talk about that instead
Take the loss on Mariota and let that be the "surprise" cut of camp lol, Tanner McKee is clearly a better QB
I think the other starting LB spot comes down to either Christian Elliss or Zach Cunningham

Zech out for the szn
He was getting cut anyway

Probably, but his ST play is what might have gifted him a roster spot. Hoping to see Ricks, Jobe and Goodrich all make the 53
When you look at the amount of vets who have been asked about who has impressed them in camp, it's practically unanimous that the answer has been Jalen Carter

Yupp, AJ said the same today
Cant wait to watch him work

Jobe is a lock, he’s the third outside corner behind Slay n Bradberry
Ricks is possible, I don’t see Goodrich making it
We’ll likely keep 6 corners
Locks:
Slay
Bradberry
Maddox
Jobe
Ringo
6th:
Ricks / Josiah Scott as I don’t know who else would back up Maddox now
