    2026 breh

  • Hasson was my favorite player in 2022 but after he and the team net 0 sacks in the Super Bowl, he just became synonymous with the team's failures for me. So it's whatever. If we fail this year we'll be moving on as much as we can from the 2022 team and it's looking like an uphill battle already.

I'm not tripping on Reddick. He was my favorite player in 2022 but after getting no sacks in the Super Bowl and then a bit of a downturn this year, idk man... not sure if bruh is solid or just had a really good year.

I think this has to be a Jalen Carter team, and I think Reddick sees that too. I'd do 1 more year with him, but if he wants to bounce then aye, we haven't won with him yet either

    agree with you wholeheartedly here.

Nothing to see here. The Eagles always run a smear campaign against any player they part ways with.

  • One thing that's real lame about this administration is how corporate they can be. That's Jeff Lurie tho.

I was the one who put the original quote up from McLane on the Fanatic Twitter account and he called and b****ed about it because of how it blew up on Twitter.

We had to take it down because he said it’s out of context.

The quote isn’t out of context — I can’t help that the public doesn’t know Reddick was asked to do other responsibilities like set the edge, contain, and defend the run, but chose to chase sack numbers instead and free lance.

I tweeted what he said verbatim and put up another quote where he says he sees Reddick’s side to it.

But since that quote didn’t blow up he was mad.

    Fletch was right 🤡

I personally think they should go with the best WR available but I get their love for the trenches

Bringing back Maddox was a good decision if he can stay healthy

I get it from both sides
Hasson wanted to get paid since last offseason and if he didnt deliver like he did in 2022, Howie is going to use that against him.
It was just a bad situation all around

On the low, WR is an underrated need but I can also see why they wouldn't want to draft one in the 1st: they're negotiating a LTD with DeVonta. I don't doubt DeVonta's mental toughness and while I personally don't think it'd be sending a message to his camp, it is something that might throw a wrench into things just in terms of the optics

I do want us to draft a WR fairly high however, DeVante Parker and Parris Campbell are uninspiring 3rd and 4th receivers

The word McLane is using is "freelancing" which is something both Reddick and Sweat were doing. Again, I'm not really harping on them too much since the entire defense went to s*** when Patricia get the headset. Would I want Reddick here with our current edge group, absolutely, but things didn't work out and both sides are moving forward.

I could see that being a slight issue. It's a good thing this draft is somewhat heavy at WR. I do wish the linebacker prospects were better this year because that's where the first round pick should go, but there's nothing for them in that range. May as well get Lane Johnson's replacement out of the way.

There's a sweet spot for a handful of LBs there in the 2nd round where we got two picks, so if any movement happens that would be where I would expect it.

My thing with drafting Lane's eventual successor is I want someone who ideally plays guard year 1. I understand the draft is for addressing future concerns but it'd suck fr to draft a tackle who can only play tackle and watch him redshirt a year. Fautanu, Fuaga, and another whose name escapes me fit the bill of guard in the short-term, tackle long-term but guys like Tyler Guyton and Amarius Mims are probably swing tackle only

Seems like they may have to trade up for Fuaga and Fautanu, which I wouldn't be against

Graham Burton may be the one that could take that dual role and succeed in it.

Also I wonder why they're still being linked to Justin Simmons and nothing has came from that. Seems weird that he's still available.

I've kinda moved on from the Simmons thing. It's not a cap space issue because we still have over $31M available even after all the signings have been accounted for (not including Maddox but he's probably back on the vet min so it's not affecting the number much). I feel like if Simmons was going to sign here it would've happened already. HOPEFULLY this means they like where Sydney is at in his rehab, in which case a guy like Quandre Diggs or Eddie Jackson would be smart. They might not be great anymore but if they're your 4th safety you ain't mad at all

  • Smith has to be next up
