It’s tough for me to place the blame on anyone but the defense. They played abysmally last night. Going for 3 early in the game may have been a better choice, but hindsight is 20/20 at that point. Saquon catches that pass 99 out of 100 times. Both those calls are excusable if the defense performs even a mediocre job. But to make Kirk Cousins look like prime Peyton Manning and go 70 yards in 30 seconds on us is some unforgivable s***.

Beyond folks getting open, it's an emphasis league wide to stop the explosive passing plays. Teams would rather see offenses nickel and dime down the field on long extended drives with the idea that there's bound to be a mistake somewhere. There were no mistakes.
