Team turned up in the second half but the offense still doesn't make me confident against playoff teams. But, I guess we technically did just play a playoff team who was also a division rival, so I can't in good faith harp too much on that. It was a legitimate win against a legitimate team. Defense is sure to keep us in games even against top teams.

I wonder about AJ and Davonta's morale at times. Jalen missed AJ a couple times and you could see the disappointment... and Saquon has really eaten into Smitty's production. Guess that's why it's good we signed them both to new contracts.

Blankenship gotta be our best safety since Dawkins, only behind Malcolm Jenkins. DeJean and Mitchell continue to do what they do.

Elliott probably not gonna be an Eagle next year. Nothing against him but as a kicker you can only miss so many in a season or game before you bar yourself from coming back.

Good post. I feel like the offense is still improving and hasn’t hit final form, but they really need to run shorter routes and get the ball out quicker. The Batman’s are so talented, just get the ball to them in space and let them make a move!

Some of the film guys did a breakdown of the game against the Commies and a lot of the passing concepts that we ran honestly 1) Were not that great and 2) Were handedly pretty well by the Commanders. My theory as to why that is is because Dan Quinn just knows Kellen Moore's offense that well from their two seasons together in Dallas as the coordinators

Also, kinda like how @kennisgoodman was mentioning the quick game just isn't there other than when the team gets blitzed lol. With how bad we were against the blitz last year, we're great against it this year because that is literally the only time we call slants lol. If we have receivers who are good at running slants and pick up yards after that...do it more lol
