I’m sure they have hitters in their playbook that’s automatic for them to get it going but it’s Saquon season and don’t get hungup on people getting their stats whilst ignoring a generational RB for us rn

I agree with this wholeheartedly, this is Saquon's time right now. I do think it would be worthwhile to expand our attack down the stretch tho. Like you said, we DO have the tools but if you don't use the tools they get rusty

AJ AJ AJ. I used to think AJ was a whiny WR. But after hearing him talk these past 2 seasons. I think he just wants to win and get a ring. Nothing else. There is a reason why he is so good. In order to be great you have to go through some level of umcomfortbalilty. He is just pointing out the elephant in the room that everybody acknowledges but doesn’t want to talk about.

We are all lying to ourselves if we think the passing game is at a level that we like. Jalen holds the ball too long, doesn’t see open receivers, and some of the plays suck/ take too long to develop (1st quarter offense).

If nobody speaks up, we might have a similar season as last years. No ring.

I think flare up might be a good thing. BG said people have to talk. I think this will force the issue.

There is no reason we should not have 250 pass yards a game especially with the threat of saquan.

In the last 3.5 games, jalen has around 500 yards passing. Why do I mention 3.5? It was at the end of the first half against Washington that Jalen probably got a concussion and had to go to the blue tent. He was definitely out of character when talking to SVP with those shades on. Is he still feeling the effects? Is this the reason why the passing game has become worse? Who knows

The passing game doesnt match our run game, we lead the league in rushing but the play action pass numbers do not support that. We should be getting easy play action passes that we are not hitting right now

nor is it good gameplan or practice to have AJ, the highest paid WR on our team, run cardio out there as a decoy.

Goes hand-in-hand with being under center more, under center play action is the EASIEST way to unlock the middle of the field. Middle of the field throws have more chance for YAC, something AJ EXCELLED at in Tennessee.

Use what we already have set up with the run game to marry with the pass game and all the problems are gone

I'm also glad you brought up the Washington game, because there is a distinct change in the passing game starting from the Washington game:

The Dallas game was the last time Hurts threw a pick, in that game he attempt a 20+ yard throw 5 times. Against Jacksonville the week prior, he attempted a 20+ yard throw 4 times. Since the Washington game up until this week against Carolina, we've thrown the ball 20+ yards down the field a combined 4 times.

He's gun shy, whether that's he himself being afraid to take those shots or being coached to protect the ball during this win streak and just rely on the run and the defense, the bottom line is he CAN'T be neutered like this

I could understand why he's upset

Part of that is the games he's missed but even on a per game basis he was a tick over 9 targets a game last season to 6.6 a game this season. He's been efficient with those, going at minimum 5 catches for 60 yards in all games that he started and finished prior to this week, but we're talking about a top 3 receiver in the game. Get him involved and watch the passing game smoothen itself out too
