Fanbase ain’t ever gonna be happy I swear. Idk what else people expected when it’s already late in the hiring cycle. 2023/24 season soured way too many people’s opinion on internal hires

The one concern that people have brought up that I think is valid is that Patullo has never called plays before. All the other hold ups man who are we getting in mid-February lol

Like I've been saying for a minute, Kellen himself wasn't a Godsend outside of the last two games. As long as Patullo can be AVERAGE, we'll be fine. He just can't be BAD

Yeah idk where people think the next amazing OC is but we are hella late into the process. Kinda wish they did a couple interviews but people forget teams can block people from interviews from assistant coaches to OC moves.

Also if we can’t promote within and be successful that’s a problem.

Our whole staff was lit last year... I just think folks gotta remember that the whole organization must be on point to win a championship, let alone a repeat

That's cause of the personnel, Kellen wasn't scheming s*** up like that till the end. Other teams just ain't got the bodies for Hurts, Saquon, AJ, Smitty, Goedert, the line, etc.

What I'm banking on most is that by now the team and front office gotta be used to the revolving door at offensive coordinator. Also, the receivers are probably happy and anticipate better passing next year (which we'll need to do anyway). It's a miracle AJ Brown was named second-team All Pro this year lol. Shows dawg is a true legend

Yeah that's just to be expected at this point. On average NFL OC's only last 2 years, you're either good enough to get hired away as a HC or you're dogshit and you get fired lol. Gonna need to get the passing back up because I don't want to give Saquon those amount of touches in the regular season again, save him for the playoffs

And yeah I'm glad the voters weren't dumb and saw that AJ is just that guy, his numbers would've been crazy if 1) We were a passing team and 2) He didn't miss time. Probably would've been First Team in that case

I think Steichen was a better OC than Kellen

Guy is just that good. Top 3 in the league so doubt about it. If he was on the Bengals people would be talking about him being better than JJ
