The only numbers that should be out of circulation right now are 20, 55, 60, 62, 91, and 92. Some could make the case for 25, but I'd leave that up for grabs too. We can't be running out of numbers here lol and there are other ways to honor these players

Really gotta do the eagles hall of fame. Hang the numbers. Keep em out for 5 maybe 10 years then put them back for truly great potential players if they make the HOF you can truly retire em

Why it's even worse about the number retirements is that we are quite literally in the golden age of Eagles football right now. If all of those guys are getting their numbers either retired or reserved, what is stopping Hurts, Smitty, AJ, Saquon?, Lane, JC, Baun?, DeJean?, etc. from getting their numbers put away when this run is over lol

Think they wanted one who's a plus both as a receiver and as a pass catcher, and the only one on Day 2 that you could squint and see that would be Mason Taylor, who was off the board early into Round 2. My personal favorite as just a pass catching option was Elijah Arroyo, but he didn't go much further than Taylor did.

Now we can look at the TE depth chart and actually feel good about that room with Goedert leading it, and it buys the team more time to actually find his replacement now.
