That’s fair, I’ll have to look more into Weis Jr. and his scheme. Seems like he’s been pretty sought after the last couple seasons, so that’s telling at least. I think if Daboll, McDaniel and a couple others are gone before we hire anyone, I wouldn’t hate the idea of hiring him, but at that point I feel like I’d prefer promoting Loeffler to OC and hiring Weis Jr on staff as QB coach or something.
I also think it would be worth throwing some money at Foles to be involved in our offense in some capacity.
Obviously some of those moves are counterintuitive to the idea of bringing in an outside perspective, but I like the things I’ve seen from and heard about Loeffler at least.
