Didnt think Philly beats would spread through regional rap how it has but its pretty cool to see everyones different approaches to the sound..Im waiting to hear some florida rappers on the wave
the beats sound like a giant baby bird hatching out from an egg while a reverberated wolf howls at the moon

In my opinion, Quanny..lets say 2 years ago with "Dog Talk" as a reference point:
"IDK" is a sleeper but this is even older than "Dog Talk"
First rapper I seen hop on the wave that wasn't from Philly was Rich NuNu (NYC) 3 months ago:
Slowly spreading through every hub only a matter of time before its a new norm and artist from Florida and ATL are rocking out the same way

I was asking cause this style of beat in OP seems like it’s destined to be the next evolution of the NY drill/Florida/Detroit style beats but morphed into something somewhat new. Was wondering if this was an already underway wave in Philly
Appreciate you posting this type s***
florida on this style prod would be hard now that i think about it. like how they did with detroit

Yeah it's like a niche pocket from Philly..Quanny, NR Boor, Skrilla, and Lil Bucks are the quintessential artist of the sound without a doubt.
I think it'll for sure be a common production style that gets mass adopted the same way detroit beats were.
Adds a whole new dimension of cross-regional collaborations.
Cool s***.
why these niggas be throwing filters randomly in the beats
Whoever gets a Quanny interview needs to ask him this in the first 10 minutes. I'm not gonna lie, that s*** can get annoying especially if I'm tryna hear. But one time he rapped on a whole beat that was filtered the entire time and it felt like art:

Me when embiid puts up 70
me when joel embiid puts 70 different perc sounds on an ancient chinese string instrument loop

the people like lowpass what can i say

i prefer philly club rap sound still tho
me when joel embiid puts 70 different perc sounds on an ancient chinese string instrument loop
yes
Need some DnB drums on there
!https://youtu.be/WbxwYAOQ1o4You're on to something..I think DNB elements are underused (almost not used at all) in rap while Jersey Club drums are overused across rap right now and something like that could start a whole new trend..hopefully a producer is reading this and does something revolutionary lol
