Okay so....who was alive for Thriller or Beatles itt?

I know its hard to believe son but I heard the beatles for the first time in 1962 at a wee little irish pub tucked in the back of dublin

It’s bait but the idea is absolutely hilarious to me

The only slightly famous biggest selling album of all time which broke racial barriers and saved the music business from a recession while pioneering a new art form hitting #1 for 37 weeks straight moving a milli a week multiple times

    Or

White woman who’s always the victim of every situation ever with no stage presence singing about her terrible relationship history in which she’s conveniently never the problem, having the “biggest tour ever” thanks to insanely inflated ticket sales

    Yeah let’s go with Eras

    Look what you've done @OP

    You poked the bear

All you have to do is look at clips of MJ touching down in Tokyo and this tweet's point become quickly becomes mute.

Bruh the video of thousands of ppl waiting outside of MJs HOTEL ROOM kills this tweet

Ah yes because you were there to compare both

Phoebe Bridgers is kind of the poster child for this “it’s a woman so it’s good” ideology.

I think one of the major differences between Taylor's stardom and that of Michael or The Beatles is even if you weren't a Michael Jackson or Beatles fan, you probably still enjoyed them to some extent, whereas anybody I know that isn't a Taylor Swift fan usually dislikes her on at least a musical level, if not just disliking her in general.

also wtf she supposed to say. she wasn't even a gleam in her parents eyes when those tours happened. To her, this taylor swift era tour is her "thriller"

It’s like when they ask lil what the f*** what they think about KRS or some s***

Fantastic idea, a true stroke of genius, to try and debate Michael Jackson and use sales to do it

    😂😂😂😂😂

MJ kind of flopped already with his 6th solo album and had to take 5 years off between albums for them to sell well. Taylor takes 1 year off between albums and still sells more on her 10th album than Invincible.

    💀

Taylor 10 albums in and still ain't seen her peak 💀

17 years into his solo career, MJ was at a world tour in 1996 and considered a weirdo and flop in the USA 💀 his own people didn't want him amymore. And that was after his 5th album lmao.

Taylor’s 5th album was 1989 lol, her first imperial era.

Additionally: MJ couldn't even place 5 albums in the US Top 10 after his death. Taylor did that alive.

Sales talk is played out at this point we all know her music is dookie water compared to actual legends. She herself would say MJ laps her
