It makes more sense in my head that something bad could happen to him and his team sees dollar signs and clout so they play into the mental health stuff and make it seem like he might be gone to get people talking

I ain’t giving his manager that benefit of the doubt, I have to believe he knew what was going on. You don’t eulogize someone in the past tense if they’re not DEFINITELY gone. If they’re still fighting for life you say “you are....” not “you were...”.But seems very much like a manager thing to do.

Yeah that s*** is crazy but not surprising that manager types choose clout over humanity. I was never a huge fan but had an image of Phora as someone who was real about mental health and helped people, but this throws that out the window and goes against what he seemingly stood for
