Theory: TLOP5 was rushed released. Pierre was holding on to that performing songs for a year now and then on Instagram annouces a quick album release (everyone is trying to release to beat the Drake release later this summer but besides that point). He had a Lil Uzi feature and Carti feature he hardly teased before the release. Theory. Pierre is the go to producer for Kanye and he needed him to go to Hawaii, Kanye recognizes Pierres talent and come up similar. Come back on this post when he has a ton of songs on LP10. Albums gonna be bangers

Pierre made carti really pop off in Die Lit and that sound has influenced a lot of mainstream sounds from drake to uzi - look at drake’s 1993. Mainstream hit and that wave is from Pierre. Pierre definitely has a sound like ye vocal chops which made him pop off

I don't see the point. Unique synth, 808s and drums limits you to make various beats. 90% of beats from the last 5 years use the same schema. Synth + 808 + Kick/Snare/Clap/HiHat, and the snare, clap and hihat sounds almost the same.

There's a thousand ways to use and cut a sample. You can make 20 differents beats in using the same sample, because you use different drums, differents bass, you can add synth or not etc.
Currently, everybody with FL Studio, Youtube tutorial and a trap drum kit can make a decent trap beat. That's not the case with soul sampling.

There's no similarities between them. Kanye is an overall artist, hiphop producer. Pierre is just a good beatmaker that will not survive when trap will be dead, just like Alex Da Kid or Lex Luger in the 2010's
