Other than Hit Boy and 40 you could actually make the argument

Based off pure quantity and the fact that he probably don’t use loops and rarely has co producers and he’s as hard as he is + changed the sound of music in a way not done since Lex…tbh he has a good case for it

Pierre is in a whole nother realm he’s architected and created a brand new reality

40 just slowing down and putting underwater filters on Keith Sweat/Teddy Riley Devonte Swing beats, he’s working within a existing framework

he's nice but extremely derivative. feel like the more music you listen to the less he sticks out tbh

u gotta give it to pierre for creating that sound. his soundscapes are really otherworldy

I started producing in 2017 and listened to Pierre beats all the time when I was beginning so I'll give him that, he did influence alot of my early stuff with the whole airy, simple drum pattern vibe he had. I suppose he innovated more than Tyler has but tbh if I had to pick one to produce an album for me I'd definitely go with Tyler

Pierre is excellent so I’m not mad at this thread

He’s special you can sort of argue he’s derivative but something about him stands apart from everyone else
