i used to think it was gonna be

because like before or after division bell it’s not coming back to me rn but they recorded some instrumental original session that we have never heard of so i was like man it must be some forgotten lost gem we’ll never hear

but then david was like let’s use those leftovers and make a new album out of it and tweaked it a lil and, well... it’s just some discovery channel soundtrack made by bald dudes, like visiting aquarium s*** background music, with some on the nose and lame callbacks to pf hits...

s*** was embarassing and a total nose dive

i should probably listen to more pink floyd stuff, they're one of the few super dad rock-ish bands that i consistently enjoy from what I've heard (my favorite projects are Wish You Were Here and Piper at the Gates of Dawn)
