well her short songs are perfect I don't see there being any need for longer tracks. Her being this skilled at short songs makes her a much more interesting musician than most who need 3 minutes to express ideas

Fully loving this.

The plus side of the short length of this project is that none of the songs feel repetitive or start to just drag on
You get hooked in with a track and put in a lil trance and then its onto the next one. Short, sweet, and to the point.

I see a LOT of artists on here get gassed up on here with 20+ track albums and them s***s be boring and stale so I appreciate seeing love for a project thats the complete opposite of that.

Some of them be sounding like ringtones tho

With the way music is being consumed in this hyper speed information era, it makes sense that a young artist would get bored writing after the first verse

I love Steve but that nigga can’t write hits… let alone pop ones like she can. That alone is what has her where she is. Her pen is impeccable and she perfectly executes what she tries to. Hasn’t missed yet.

Yeah totally, I was just drawing comparison mainly based on the excitement people had for both based on such short material

But steve was more about having a cool sound/production, whereas pink is definitely more about a mixture of her sound and songwriting

With that said I dunno if I can call her pen impeccable..she does what she does well but song length plays a big part in that
