At Worlds End is my favorite. Blockbusters at their most excessive and experimental. A Disney film that starts with a child being hung. Verbinski had some huge balls.

Also, these were ostensibly made for children but the themes were very mature and the movies were legit eerie and scary at times. The stunts, shots, acting, characters, dialogue, set design, wardrobe were all top notch. Seems like one of the last original massive budget movies that they really put effort into
