yeah he performed Pet Sounds front to back for it’s anniversary
There was a Pitchfork fest? You’d have to put a bullet in my skull before I would ever consider attending
Went to that fest several times during my years in Chicago. Great fest, well-run and I never felt as if they lost their identity along the way like Lollapalooza did.

they had cool artists perform
too bad honestly. this isn't really about pitchfork it's about smaller artists/ "independent" music struggling to sell fests

them and Carly Rae, Jeremih (who brought out Chance at his peak to do Angels) OPN, Moses Sumney, The Range, Anderson Paak, Digable Planets, RP Boo, Neon Indian, Miguel, Kamari Washington, and f***ing Sun Ra Arkestra
All for like $150 for a 3 day mind you.
Legendary fest
F*** Condé Nast forever. Easily my favorite festival I’ve ever gotten to attend, and between the site and this they’ve shamelessly gutted it in just a couple years.
End of an era tbh. Pitchfork fest lineups were a yearly music discovery outlet for me even when I moved from the Midwest and wasn’t able to go.

Just reading this made me nostalgic
This is happening to pretty much all or these sites . They’re outdated and rarely anyone goes on the site to read a s***ty review

Just reading this made me nostalgic
The mid 10s were genuinely incredible and 2016 especially so right up until November lmao
Feeling particularly nostalgic for the Obama era these days
