now that's more like it

No Memphis representation to be found there -- from what I seem to have gathered -- is profoundly sad to see, though...

Rodeo over Lord Willin is so much worse than putting Underdog 2 over Doggystyle
Original Pirate Material and A Grand Don't Come For Free would at least
that’s garage tho tbf idk if I’d call it rap per se
putting too much trust in numbers
What I’m saying is that pitchfork expects people to put faith in numbers but every time they do a list like this the numbers simply don’t add up
whats absolutely f***ing hilarious is that people dont be playing that s*** as musch as they claim they love it
you just know when an album has no motion anywhere outside of critic circles
It's diamond lol
It's so interesting to me the argument that if you think something is great and even one of the best/your favorites, you must consume it regularly or else you're faking the funk.
We're on a music forum. We see the amount of music that's released on a daily basis. People that are really keeping up with music (or swap music out with anything else, for that matter) are gonna be hard pressed to find the time to play the same s*** over and over. Regardless of if they can call it one of their favorites or not. That's silly.
A few projects I voted for that didn’t make it the official list
Kodak black - Institution
Young Thug - Barter 6
Redman - Muddy Waters
Ka - Descendants of Cain
MIKE - WAR in my pen
Kid Cudi - Man on The Moon: The End of The Day
Drake - If you’re reading this it’s too late
Lucki - Freewave 3 (idc that’s a personal fav of mine)
I had like 3-4 Big Krit albums/mixtapes listed lmao
Black star album
Lil Wayne - Da Drought 3
Webbie - Savage Life 1
Black Star is a glaring omission fs

Underdog being on the list is insane and I’m here for it. Summer 2018 listening to that tape is a key part of my life
Only one Tribe album and it's Low End Theory
Real for pointing this out
This is actually a problem even in hip hop circles. Midnight Marauders has become probably the most underrated album ever

Yeah some albums are better when you come back to them after a while instead of playing them daily
