I don't understand the Pitchfork demographic and their opinions honestly
From Sexyy Redd to Olivia Rodrigo to Bob Dylan
I don't understand their taste
Some surprising picks tbh
In some ways, one of their worst lists ever, in others - props for some placements that I never saw coming from them
is this crazy placement? unaware of alex g's work
Well deserved placement imo
#1 Eminem - Stepdad (2020)
why @meh
random ass song to choose considering WLR arguably set the tone for hip-hop for the next 2 or 3 years after

It’s powerful stuff. Runner is one of my favorite songs this last year.

Eminem Jr.. You have not listened to God Save The Animals? I think you'd love it.
Anyway should be top 5 probably but 8 is fine
84. The 1975: “If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know)” (2020)
"Eusexua" should've made it instead.

bob dylan and rxk nephew in the same breath makes more sense than some others may currently imagine
They put that garbage Earl Sweatshirt and Evilgiane song way too high. Earl needs to stop linking up with producers that make songs for zoomers to put in a Spotify playlist with the title "vibes" (deliberately all lowercase) that they play when they take the bus home from their job at Uniqlo or whatever
Should've been Tabula Rasa if anything
I don’t agree with the ranking but this is probably their best list in ages imo. They somehow managed to highlight a lot the strength of the decade
yeah it's the rankings for me tbh, but then again that's what drums up the engagement bait lol.
there's some great picks, and then there are some picks where i feel like we won't even be talking about by the end of the decade
Wait no Rosalia or sampha
I thought OP was joking with the RFKnephew song and yet it was there
