yea u should its really interesting, i think it being such a percussive heavy record makes it fascinating enough that even if u aren't moved by the subject matter, it can still be a decent listen

i dont think theres a record like it still, theres some really emotionally arresting moments on it

it does sound like theater kid s*** sometimes and her using this black girl she went to scjool with as a narrative a***ogue for her explore feelings of otherness / independence is interesting (been done many times before by bowie, dylan, buckley, etc etc)
