How much did it costs?
and How did you plan it?
Still planning it out but not looking to spend more than 1.5k using points for the flight and booking hostels or maybe use the couch surfing app
didn't know that existed for sure gonna buy one thanks
My bro goes camping a lot and sleeps at campsites. He had one sowed inside his backpack so it’s hidden. So if it’s stollen they can’t find it and throw it out.

Nice hiking in Romania but probably more difficult in the winter, still might be able to go to the mountains tho
Check out towns like Sibiu, Brasov, Sighisoara for the architecture
If you’re into churches look at the regions of Romania of Maramures and Bucovina
Budapest is a necessity, one of the best cities on Earth, if you want nightlife you’re going to the right place
Get a brownie from Oh Deer Bakery in Prague
Stay in hostels to meet people
Ask anything else about Romania + Budapest, don’t know too much about the other places you’re going

where is the most fun nightlife in Europe in your experience?
Romania, Prague, Budapest, Kyiv, Warsaw.
First time ever being out of the US any tips?
Romania - visit Bucharest(most of the older city south of Stephen The Great Boulevard and north of the Union Boulevard; check out the Old Town, Victoriei, Magheru/Catargiu, Elisabeta Boulevard, Romana, Armenian Quarter, Dorobanti Park and the quarter itself. Check out the coffee and food in particular. One of the most diverse cities in the world when it comes to architecture), Arad, Oradea, Cluj, Timisoara, Craiova, Sighisoara, Bistrita, Braila, Constanta, Iasi(all of these still have heaps of old architecture left around)
Ukraine - Lviv, Kharkiv, Kiev
Hungary - Budapest, Debrecen
Bulgaria - Sofia, Ruse, Plovdiv
Serbia - Belgrade
You can also go to all three baltic capitals(Vilnius, which has the biggest collection of Art Nouveau architecture in the world, Riga, Tallinn)
Visit the seaside(not in Romania cause the prices there are like in Paris or New York for communist treatment), mountainside and nature, there's plenty of it

Can confirm, I'm from Bistrita.
Have fun op. I went to Prague once in the late spring and it was the best place I’ve ever been on holiday. So beautiful.
Why do you want to come here? This place sucks
The buildings are ugly
Avoid Gypsies
Ugly buildings
Bro you do know pre communist Eastern Europe existed right?
where is the most fun nightlife in Europe in your experience?
Madrid or Budapest
I’ve heard good things about Belgrade I need to go there too

hit me up when u will be in prague. im from work here until 2022
Thanks! Those cities are like in the Transylvania area correct?
You think nightlife will still be poppin in January? I assume it would be because they are used to the cold and it's whatever. Less tourists though I assume
covid restrictions are heavy in eastern europe
last year there was a curfew in the czech republic where nobody could be outdoors after 8pm unless you were going home from work- only exception.
things might change this time around tho, but expect less during these times
why?
rent out an airbnb
u might get robbed in a hostel
heard hella stories of people getting "gassed" in hostels and waking up without all their stuff
Do it @op. I did a 10 week bicycle tour alone at 18 on the other side of the world from my home with a bunch of acid and it was blessed. Then I spent a year in china alone learning martial arts. Don't be scared. People are kind world wide.

i'd also suggest you make a trip to slovakia, they have some beautiful castles over there.
Avoid Bratislava tho, that is one of the ugliest and dirtiest cities i've ever been to.
If you're going to Budapest i'd suggest u make a trip to Kosice in Slovakia on ur way to Budapest. Beautiful historical city with great night life
