Think so? Most of these cases fall apart when the victim recants or just disappears.

In my personal experience, I’ve had two friends who begged me to drive them to the county jail to bail out the dude who beat them up. I can only imagine it gets even shakier when it’s someone like Carti with considerable wealth to move things

Yeah a lot of victims don't want their abuser or one time hitter to deal with the prison system (which sometimes is the right call because it would just make them into worse criminals 95% of the time.)

uhhhh, I hate to break it to you, but rich people don’t go to prison over stuff like this. even most poor people would just get off with probation etc.

• Chris Brown beat the f*** out Rihanna and is still loved
• Gucci Mane is a legend, but was a complete scumbag before his last stint in jail with a laundry list of f***ery
• Everyone saying free Thugger, but let's be honest my guy was calling shots and having niggas murdered
• Travis Scott was sleeping with Rubi Rose when she was a minor
• The Game was found guilty of sexual battery and has been with 16-17 year olds
• Kodak Black was in jail for sexual assault and no one cares
• Fab knocked his girlfriend teeth out
• Herbo got arrested for beating his baby momma
