This might be slightly off topic but I feel like there may be some bad faith actors itt In a sense where these folks never were vocal on lgbt issues outside of a controversy or even identify with the community themselves but the second when it’s convenient to claim some moral high ground over some goofy ass strangers on the Internet who they’re probably just alike behind closed door they just to showcase it because they know they gonna get banned they speak from this place of righteousness for the sake of Internet gratification to feel included even though they hold no sentiment towards the community they want moral points from its fake and performative Someone said it in a previous thread most of y’all niggas more concerned about being good posters and having a good internet background than being good people overall. Sorry if I probably delivered this the wrong way I’m just a lil irritated because I know deep down most of y’all are arguing for the sake of ego and entertainment

The thing is, they're not saying or even trying to force you or anyone to HAVE to date or find a trans woman attractive. They just don't want to feel discriminated against because of their said trans-ness. Don't discard their humanity or worth.

It's not transphobic to not wanna personally date a woman that happens to be trans.

It's not transphobic if you don't wanna date a trans person due to genital preference (which is a real thing) and that's a case-by-case basis depending on the person you're talking to and that goes to a whooooole nother thing.

But it is let's say for example, you meet a trans woman who for all intents and purposes is post-op and looks fine and attractive to you personally, if after she tells you she's trans, if all that attraction that you once had to her automatically changes? That can be looked at as transphobic.

At the end of the day trans people just want to feel loved too and not feel persecuted or shamed or ridiculed for their choices.
