Ive NEVER thought uzi was better than carti
Used to get killed in arguments just for me to end up being right
If you look past the aesthetic similarities, they are really different.
Uzi can really rap and he can actually have a concept behind a song and execute it when he tries
I mean the s*** Carti is doing nowadays is special but Uzi a legend on his own
i been listening to carti way before uzi it was just a personal pref thing but ever since some of the leaks after die lit hes been certified way ahead of uzi
his creative team is just way more solid
Uzi way more mainstream than Carti
Yeah uzi has cashed in on what may have been his peak while carti use the gay batman s*** to not water down his fame but that can backfire if ppl move on
Uzi make alot of weird decisions too
they both made it look cool
wouldn't be no opium aesthetic without uzi
these are like the worst / gayest pics u chose to make ur argument
Uzi got a better catalog and has more music for the hoes but Carti right now just beyond it fr
Whole lotta red til now carti has made better music but a lot of what Carti is doing now uzi did damn near a decade ago
like what
i been listening to carti way before uzi it was just a personal pref thing but ever since some of the leaks after die lit hes been certified way ahead of uzi

it's really just that
Uzi doesn't have a Artdealer or SexisDeath on his team to curate his vision
Vert is definitely leaps and bounds better though
Carti ain't got one of these

cmon now champ

uzi can hit a pocket that matches mixtape weezy level when he wants to lol hes ill
its a shame that all the dancing, wannabe manson s***, fashion, etc keep the oldheads from seeing the truth
he 1 of 1 as a rapper v versatile and can run circles around anyone
but his albums suffer bc hes just not that good at putting together a cohesive body of work
i knew he was cooked creatively when the EA deluxe tracks were as a whole better than EA that was just a shame
a cheap reprisal song of his biggest hit
cmon now champ
Nigga said a "cheap reprisal"
I'd hate to hear most of y'all playlists
I grew up with these niggas but I know I’m getting old when niggas are discussing vamp aesthetics

EA was a shame in general, zero replay value sadly. Travis Scott’s last album was booty juice too. I really hope cartis next one is good.
this was clear in 2020 when @ meh came out not even wlr
@ meh is not good and nobody in real life thinks it is
Vert is definitely leaps and bounds better though
Carti ain't got one of these
!https://youtu.be/yUAF0nKN0Ck?si=MqpHPPCT1xYRCkbOHow are you gonna post the terrible attempt at remaking the actually great song? Say what you want but Carti would never stoop this low. This is a big part of why Carti is still so successful, he knows who he is and doesn't look back. Uzi doesn't and is constantly looking backwards trying to recreate that spark rather than finding a new one to the point that he's become a caricature
like what
Wlr aesthetics are literally the same as lir2. his obsession with upside down crosses and putting them on his whole clique comes from uzi. the flows and voice changes uzi been doing from the jump.
The thing about carti is he just does it better/been doing it better
Carti swag and music in this current era are far removed from uzi tho
