hey man relaxmy biggest worry is that interscope told him to change up the sound
keep these old ass label heads AWAY from the creative decisions please and i hope carti not listening to the dumbass fans either, people dont even know what they really want until they get iti heavily doubt this solely cause the baby voice was why kid cudi blow up which could've been his biggest song
and the leaks w/ the baby voice have blown up on tik tok
even if they didn't like the sound of it, the label cares about money, so they would let him release anything as long as it was reminiscent of the leaks tht blew up

what it seems like to me is that carti had a f*** ton of songs finished, put out @ meh, but kept recording new music
red got officially finished a few weeks back, but there hasn’t been a real release window that makes sense so they’ve put it on pause until there is
i HIGHLY doubt this is a case where the label has shelved it, which is kind of how everyone is interpreting AK’s statement

Yeah I mean Uzi was basically holding out til his deal got fixed but Carti is just not dropping out of being stubborn (and also let all his files be passed before he even had a chance to drop)
