Interscope wont let him do that especially if its turned in. If you think about it his only real "fumbles" were dropping his first mixtape late as hell (which worked out for him , Magnolia blew and he became a rising star to the public) and @ MEH flopping bad (which they did the right thing, paused the rollout, waited til the backlash died down, and reset for this drop).

it’s a mix tbh - because he was extremely smart in finding a new producer (pierre) with a unique fresh sound that would exclusively work w him, and was aware enough to choose the perfect moment to do this
if he had gone with milan and dro his career would look completely different right now and not in a good way
