Carti raises a good point here. It's true that in certain areas, the theory of relativity is vulnerable. For example, the laws of gravity don't make sense inside a black hole. He is also right by saying that the laws of physics, including gravity, should be valid everywhere in the universe.

Perhaps the takeaway message from this should be that we will need to move beyond Einstein's theory to a more comprehensive theory of gravity that covers some of its shortcomings. However, I'd counter by saying Einstein's theory should stand until that new theory is developed.
