gnarlynastyI’m on Place and imo,I think this album signifies the end of an era. Feels like rap music moving on to bigger and better things after this. WLR may legit be like the last major game on a console that showcases all the consoles strengths.
WLR feels just like that,it’s not bad at all for what it is but s***,producers have maxed out the 808/trap sound and this album was the one to do that. It’s kinda like I’m saying this album is taking modern rap to its limits but it’s more like taking modern rap and reminding us that “yea,the album is cool and that’s it,that’s the album”.

i understood the backlash to self-titled completely because that was a departure from his darker and somewhat more lyrical stuff with awful records but this is just a completely upgraded carti in every shape and form. wtf got people so mad
