tupacartii mean artdealer has been making beats like this before 100 gecs blew up n rico too (same with F1lthy). this is just where carti's sound was going tbh. the inspiration is def there tho, they even got lukrative and outtatown on here who make beats in that realm.
I don't even care who did it first. Carti is just legit the laziest snippet freestyler. I get that there are fans of vulgar aesthetic or whatever, but structuring and progressing a song doesn't take away from that. Rico Nasty's iPhone has like 3 different switch ups, a distinct chorus, the same vocal range, etc. The effort is just incomparable.
