this album is pure escapism what more could you want

Finished first listen. It was the best first listen i had this year. There was really not one bad track and only like 2/3 tracks that i didn’t find to be on the same level. Really good for 24 tracks tbh. Like its always with first listens, there might be tracks i like more over time and some that i like less. But the album for sure didn’t disappoint. Beats and production are amazing and Carti really pushed his flows, rapping and voice inflections on another level.

Some of the voices are like impressive but also vry annoying to me. He isn't a great rapper and he has almost 0 catchy vocal melodies on this so it just sounds like he's practicing odd voices on half made beats for most of this. Most beats at least sound kinda cool but some sound unfinished/very repetitive
