sfsorrowI’m so glad i spend my time off here mad high in my own world with this this last night listening 3+ times and avoided all the opinions cus it seems absolutely miserable on here and other places. I was ready to end it all going through that “is WLR punk” thread. I knew as soon as it was over the first listen people were gonna be so mad and confused and it’s hilarious the reactions. Fans have finally been put in their place
Carti doing this and fully leaning into these sounds and vocal styles is incredible and beyond anything i was hoping for. Reminds me so much of my first listens of Testing in the way the end result was so drastically different than my expectations but just like that it’s in the best possible way and better than the stupid ideas i have in my head the months leading up. I’m so happy with it and ive been playing it nonstop today. I don’t want to say anything too crazy one day in so i’ll spare the rest but i’m not surprised the best opinion people on here are in love w it too!!!!! I hope you guys all had a great holiday ❤️

One of the things I love about Carti rollouts, as annoying as it can be, is how close-knit the community can be and how we get info from random sources. Still can’t believe we got the f***ing release date by DJ Akademiks of all people, more so that he was used as the intro to a song.
