You can not tip on the app and give them cash in person, which is what I always do with any delivery drivers.

It's actually preferred for them too, because that tip can't be taxed/have a portion go to the company if its handed to them in cash.

Ppl get laid off and are in between jobs. My job let about 3-4 ppl from my department go and cut our hours like a week into the covid lockdown. And its not like unemployment gets approved right away, it can take a while and niggas got bills to pay.

I doubt being the uber eats nigga was their 1st choice, but its a job thats somewhat in demand rn and you can start almost right away.
